The Venue
Venue 1848 is unique in the Central Virginia area. The word “boutique” describes this space well. It is small and sophisticated!
You’ll love the original hardwood floors, tin-tile ceiling, and exposed brick. Our neutral palette will make choosing your wedding colors super easy because we won’t clash - promise!

The Green Gate Courtyard
Being adjacent to the railroad track is a special feature! The Green Gate Couryard is the perfect location to view the occasional passing train.
The courtyard is fully enclosed and partially covered. Use it for your ceremony, the cocktail hour and family photos!

The upstairs Loft lends a particular quality - a beauty that is not limited to aesthetics but extends to vision and purpose.
When you choose Venue 1848 for your wedding event, you and your bridesmaids may use the Loft for getting ready.

The Loft @venue1848 is also available for overnight accommodations! The spacious loft has one bedroom with a queen size bed for two adults. Inquire for details to add guests.
